Building Hope; One Paw at a Time ! 🐾

🏡 Build It Thursday | One Step Closer to Saving More Lives
I just want to save animals.
Lately, donations have been at an all-time low, and with fewer donations, we can help fewer dogs. There were moments when I honestly stood on the edge of closing Justice for Samson Animal Rescue.
I’m tired.
I’m tired of my house being torn apart because every spare room is for dogs. I’m tired of not having furniture to sit on. I’m tired of being broke. Every dollar left after paying the bare necessities goes straight to the dogs.
But then something happened.
While scrolling Facebook, I saw an ad for a portable shed. I’ve tried before to buy one, but the down payment was always more than I could manage. Still, I decided to take a leap of faith and send a message.
Jessica worked with us after learning we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The original $400 down payment was reduced to just $250.
Within hours, thanks to a handful of incredibly generous supporters, we raised the money!
Next came 28 cinder blocks to prepare the site. Your Build It Thursday donations made that possible through our GiveSendGo campaign.
Then we discovered we needed trees removed to place the building in a safe, shady location. That was another $350. Once again, those same faithful sponsors stepped in.
Now we’re waiting for delivery! 🐾
This building will allow us to safely house 15 to 20 dogs, giving more homeless animals a chance at rescue instead of becoming another heartbreaking statistic.
Our work isn’t finished.
We still need: 🐾 Electricity 🐾 A mini-split air conditioner 🐾 Secure fencing 🐾 Interior improvements
We’ll be gathering estimates soon.
If you’ve ever wondered whether your donation makes a difference, this is it. Every board, every fence panel, every wire, every life saved begins with someone who chose to care.
Please consider donating to our Build It Thursday campaign through GiveSendGo.
I cannot do this alone.
Saving lives takes a village… and I hope you’ll be part of ours.
