Please join us on Tuesday for information regarding integrity in rescue.
Week 1
Rescues… let’s talk about transparency and integrity. How are donor pledges truly being used? When funds are raised for a specific dog, what happens if that dog is adopted directly from the shelter? Are those funds still used to fully vet that dog, support the adopter, and cover transport or medical needs?Or are they redirected elsewhere, leaving the adopter to shoulder the cost? What about fosters? Are rescues ensuring every dog has food, medical care, and supplies throughout their stay?Or are fosters quietly expected to pay out of pocket to fill the gaps? And let’s talk about courtesy tags…When one rescue tags an animal on behalf of another rescue, how are the funds handled? Are all donations transferred to the receiving rescue? Is a portion retained? Is that process clearly communicated to donors?Transparency isn’t optional. Integrity isn’t situational. The animals, fosters, adopters, and donors all deserve honesty and accountability.
Week 2
Let’s talk real numbers. No fluff. No smoke. Just facts. When you donate to a rescue, you’re not just giving dollars… you’re funding second chances.💉 Medical Care – vaccines, spay/neuter, heartworm treatment🍖 Food & Daily Care – because healing takes fuel🛏️ Shelter & Supplies – kennels, bedding, cleaning essentials🚐 Transport – getting dogs from danger to safety📋 Microchips & Records – accountability that follows them for lifeHere’s the question every donor should feel comfortable asking:👉 Can the rescue show exactly how funds are used?👉 Are the animals fully vetted before adoption?👉 Are fosters supported… or left to carry the burden?Transparency isn’t a trend. It’s a responsibility. At Justice for Samson, every receipt, every update, every life saved is shared because trust isn’t given… it’s earned.💙 When you give, you deserve to KNOW.🐾 When we rescue, they deserve EVERYTHING.
