As we begin 2023 our prayer is for all of the lost, abandoned, discarded animals to find safe places. That Texas enforce spay and neuter laws. That we stop back yard breeding. It is heart wrenching to see so many animals lose their lives. The entire nation is in an animal crisis. People are throwing their pets away like they are no more than trash. We can not save them all. We need stricter Laws to put a stop to the animal abuse. We Need Animal Controls to enforce the law in place. Start prosecuting the abusers. And maybe we can start seeing a decrease in over population
As the dawn breaks on a new year, let us give thanks for all we hold dear: our health, our family and our friends. Let us release our grudges, our anger and our pains, for these are nothing but binding chains. Let us live each day in the most loving ways, the God-conscious way

Intake closed!! We were supposed to close intake a few weeks ago. But there is always that one. No more until we get some adopted that are at the rescue.
The dogs say it's hot already. I am approved for a mini split central unit. But we need 1600 down. We still need fences up. Funny how owner surrenders will tell you blah blah but once they drop that dog off. They are ghost. I've had a foster bail in 25 hrs. 2 dogs had to be reclaimed. Do not adopt to Ken Wolf. Pm for reasons. Reclaimed 1 dog from a foster. We have 2 neuters, 1 spay. And it's time for our yearly exams.

Each dog is utd, heartworm neg , on preventions, altered except the 3 waiting. Before they leave the rescue they will be examined thoroughly and given a new heartworm test. We have a few seniors. No little.

Kent loves to play. He can be selective about fur playmates. But not humans. His favorites are hide n seek and catch me if you can. He loves to run. Once he knows his boundaries. He stays in them. He would be great on hikes, wlks and the beach. His age is guesstimated at 7.
